The Presbyterian Church of Plumville
Growing in Faith Together

This page is the place to find out about all the important (and some of the not so important) stuff that goes on at the Presbyterian Church of Plumville.  Below are listed relevant events along with the person(s) to contact if you're interested.

Exciting News:

The Session has recently decided to embrace the opportunity and the honor of entering into partnership with the Ruhango Church in the Gitarama region of Rwanda.

We are excited about the possibilities that this will open up in our congregation.  The Body of Christ is doing amazing things all over the globe, the partnership between Gitarama in Rwanda and Kiskiminetas Presbytery in the United States is just one example of how Christians can unite to improve the world in which we live.

Here is a copy of the letter and pictures we are sending to Ruhango: www.pcplumville.org/rwandalet.dsp

News and Schedules

July 26-30, 2010: Vacation Bible School

News from Ruhango:

Though communication is sometimes a slow and imperfect process, our partner church in Ruhango recently sent us some pictures of their church.  They asked about Plumville and our life together and lifted up two projects: an on going Sewing cooperative and the proposed expansion of their church building.  Ruhango is a part of the Eglise Presbyterienne au Rwanda (EPR) and our governing bodies have worked steadily for several years to develop this system of partnerships between churches here in Western PA and churches in the Gitarama region of Rwanda.

As you may remember Rwanda endured a terror that is almost beyond imagining during one of the worst incidents of Genocide in recent history.  Rwanda is on the road to recovery and is showing the world the true power of forgiveness and hope.  We are proud to be partners with Ruhango, one of the many ways that God's people can unite across all boundaries and distances.
